  • Can I use Retinol with Vitamin C?
    
    • Yes, retinol and vitamin C can be safely used together. When used in the same routine, vitamin C and retinol provide enhanced results. Some people may find the combination too active when used simultaneously, so we recommend using your more potent treatments and serums at opposite times of the day if irritation occurs.
  • Can I use Retinol in the day or is it for nighttime use only? 
    
    • We recommend using the Perfectly Dosed Retinol Treatments in the PM to reap the full effects of these formulas.
  • What is Ferulic Acid? 
    
    • Ferulic acid is an antioxidant found in all plant leaves that provides protection against sun exposure. In the Advanced Retinol + Ferulic line, ferulic acid neutralises free radicals released during retinol’s conversion process to its active form which renders retinol significantly gentler and more tolerable on skin.
  • How does Retinol work? Does it exfoliate my skin? 
    
    • Retinol activates the base layer of skin to produce new cells more quickly and migrate upwards to replace ageing, damaged and hyperpigmented skin: a process that naturally slows down in our twenties. This should be used in conjunction with an exfoliant such as alpha and beta-hydroxy acids that remove dead skin cells at the surface.
  • How do I use the Retinol + Ferulic Perfectly Dose peels? 
    
    • We recommend adding the Perfectly Dosed Retinol Treatment into your routine 2-3x nights a week whilst skin gets acclimated, increasing frequency according to your skin’s tolerance whilst exfoliating on alternative nights or in the morning.
